Stats Speak: Japan is the traditional rival of India In Women Hockey

Like Pakistan in men’s hockey Cherry blossom is arch rival of India in women’s hockey. Most 61 matches had been played between them. In Antwerp (July 2015) World League India beat Japan 1-0 to get the Olympic berth after 36 years. In Johannesburg (July 2017) World League India lost to Japan 0-2 in last match played.
